The Grilled Cheeserie celebrates National Grilled Cheese Month with a REAL American Cheese!

April is National Grilled Cheese Month and in Honor of this momentous occasion, we've collaborated with Kenny's Farmhouse Cheese to handcraft a Real American Cheese. Yup, you read that right. Everyone's favorite guilty pleasure just got a little less guilty. 

This variety of cheese has never before been attempted by Kenny's Farmhouse. They (and we!) could not be happier about how it turned out! Along with the guidance of Kenny and his head cheese maker, the Cheeserie owners and staff made 250 pounds of this cheese to feature throughout the month of April, exclusively available through The Grilled Cheeserie. 


About the Real American Cheese:

60 Day Aged Double Cream Colby

  • Completely Natural
  • NO preservatives
  • NO artificial flavorings or colors (Annato Seed was used to give it that classic orangy-yellow American cheese color)
  • Made from milk by happy cows on Kenny's Farm in Kentucky.

This cheese will be co-labeled with Kenny's and TGC and will be exclusively sold to The Grilled Cheeserie at this time. So you better be sure to come visit the truck and celebrate with us!

Thus, The “Real American Cheeserie” Campaign was born...

A special "campaign" button will be given out to each customer in April who orders our Real American Cheese Melt. Each button was handmade for us by 8 year old East Nashville native Berta of the Hankabee Button Company. “Cheesy” political puns (“Make Cheese Grate Again” and “It's A Cheese to Believe In”) will also be the tone of our social media campaign and we will encourage this whit throughout the month and expect nothing less from our customers. We will also be encouraging our customers to post their photos with the hash tag #RealAmericanCheeserie
